- **** Advised customer that technician could not duplicate a no crank or no start condition. Vehicle started multiple times with no concerns noted. Did find two diagnostics trouble codes stored in engine control module as history codes. P1285 – Cylinder Head Over Temperature Sensed and P1299 – Cylinder Head Over Temperature Protect Active. Suspect thermostat is intermittently sticking causing vehicle to overheat and enter into a safe mode, which caused a no crank and no start condition. Recommend starting with replacement of thermostat and gasket. Cleared trouble codes.
