- Visually inspected for obvious signs of mechanical or electrical failure. ***For electrical system specifications see attached work sheet. **** Advised customer found battery needed a charge then continued with electrical system test, Found starter motor is defective; will need to replace start motor then retest electrical system. **** After replacing starter found alternator has no voltage. Recommend replacing alternator. **** Battery is under warranty – customer is to return to auto zone for new battery.
