- **** Advised customer that check engine light is not currently on. Connected scanner and retrieved the following trouble codes stored as history codes: P0305 – Cylinder #5 Misfire Detected P0316 – Engine Misfire Detected on Start Up **** Monitoring live data, found no current misfire counts. Suspect cylinder #5 ignition coil is intermittently defective. Recommend replacing #5 ignition coil and spark plug as a starting point. If concern continues or check engine light returns, father diagnostics will be needed.
